Living Lissone

The reactivation of the urban fabric consists first of all in the reactivation of micro-social relations, that is the reactivation of interpersonal and intergenerational relations as well as the reestablishment of activities and small functions in the effective flow of cultural, social and economic exchanges. The pursuit of this goal through the concrete activation of proximity relations with the urban context is the founding principle of  Living Lissone project. We are obviously not just talking about the morphological and urbanistic relations, but above all about how the community of "LiLi" can be extended by virtuous contagion to the citizens who live, work or visit the area. Today it is no longer possible to design the city physical space without configuring its virtual correspondent (digital twin). This double level of action must be integrated into a single design approach that makes urban design evolve as we have known it in its contemporary and digital version (digital urbanism). The micro-fabric of the historic center must, therefore, be innervated by a new path that cannot be limited to a more or less successful and elegant design of paving, but which must conceive urban space as a real interchange hub between the virtual world and physical world. This involves, on one hand, the conception of a digital tool (App LiLi) which, instead of segregating citizens in their own homes promotes proximity relations (IoP - Internet of People) and on the other, the conception of urban space as a device and physical interface of the digital instrument. Citizens and the reconquest of space, streets, and squares are the center of the overall design process.
