Human Technopole

Competition

The Project has been presented for the first phase of Human Technopole competition, a scientific Campus in the MIND area - Milan Innovation District - characterized by a great urban quality, innovative and flexible work environment, functionality and digitalization. The competition includes two project areas, the HT Campus and the New Building for office and laboratories.

In JDParchitects proposal the built environment is imagined as a bio-technological "living" organism, where human behaviors and technology interact in a physiological way, mutually changing and influencing each other. The built environment is intended as a hybrid and undifferentiated continuum between architecture, interior spaces, urban space and landscape in a perspective of "widespread learning" as an expansion of the research function in the digital Campus.

Particular attention has been paid to well-being, interaction and perceptive reactivation of Campus users, both in open spaces design, developed in collaboration with the P’archnouveau studio and of the interior spaces, thanks to the contribution of the DesignGroupItalia studio.

The New Building also performs as an energetically resilient building, thanks to a careful technological study by Techproject and thanks to the support of digital platforms developed by Siemens.
